I wanted to thank everyone for your prayers last week while giving you an update on what is going on.
Over the last few days, I have had several test done, along with a couple of doctors visits. Last Friday, my white blood cell count was at 1,900. Ideally it should be between 8,000-10,000.
This afternoon they checked my count again. It has dropped to 1,600. So my oncologist has scheduled me for a bone marrow biopsy Friday morning.
Is this an automatic cancer diagnosis? Not necessarily. Hence why we still have questions, and will until sometime next week.
Please keep Candace, Ian, and myself in your prayers.
Please pray for the family of Corrin Linkowski.
Like all of us, the Lord had a purpose and plan for Corrin. Corrin loved the Lord, and shared the good news of His love with many.
Her favorite verse in the Bible was
“…as it is my eager expectation and hope that I will not be at all ashamed, but that with full courage now as always Christ will be honored in my body, whether by life or by death.”
Philippians 1:20 ESV
Corrin honored the Lord during her life. He had an assignment for her. She almost completed that assignment. Like Paul, she fought the good fight, she finished her course, she kept the faith.
This past week she was in a car crash. Yesterday, the Lord called her home.
I say her assignment was almost complete because, as her favorite verse says, her hearts desire was to honor the Lord, not only in life, but death as well. She has done that as well.
Yesterday she entered God’s throne room. As she did, Jesus stood as God said, “Well done good and faithful servant “.
Well done indeed.
So please honor Corrin’s memory by praying for her family and friends. As well, honor the Lord this week…and every week until your assignment is completed.
Please keep the Pinkard family in your prayers. Mr. Pinkard, pictured here, was one of the victims that was shot and killed in the workplace shooting in Aurora, Ill. Please click
here to read his wife’s post. It is a testimony of God’s grace.
Above, you will see a link asking us to pray for Henry. The link will take you straight to their Facebook Page.
Last month, 7 year old Henry was diagnosed as having brain cancer. It has spread down his spine. They were able to remove the tumor from the brain, but he still has a long road ahead of him.
I encourage everyone to follow this page and pray for his family.
